Wyndham Vacation Rentals UK brands are celebrating success at this year’s British Travel Awards – with Hoseasons, Blue Chip Holidays, James Villa Holidays and cottages.com all collecting top awards.
Hoseasons was crowned Best Special Interest Holiday Company for the second year
running, as well as Best LGBT Holiday Company during a ceremony at London’s Evolution, in Battersea.
Blue Chip Holidays and James Villa Holidays were also winners, carrying off the Best Medium UK Holiday Cottage Company and Best Large Villa Holiday Company awards respectively, while James Villa Holidays picked up a hattrick of silver awards for Best Holiday Company to East & Southeast Europe, Best Holiday Company to the Iberian Peninsula & Islands and Best Holiday Company to Hellenic Europe.
Cottages.com completed the WVRUK haul with silver in the Best Large UK Holiday Cottage Booking Company category.
Simon Altham, Managing Director – Revenue, at Wyndham Vacation Rentals UK says the awards represent deserved recognition for all those involved in the WVRUK business.
He said: “We are incredibly proud of these awards, not least because they are voted for by the general public, but also because they show we are getting it right across the WVRUK portfolio. We’ve had a fantastic 2017 and are looking forward to working with our partners again next year to provide the best possible holiday experiences for our customers.”
This year’s clutch of awards builds on previous success for WVRUK brands at the BTAs, with James Villa Holidays winning the Best Self-Catering Large Villa Operator category for the last four years and Blue Chip winning Best Medium UK Holiday Cottage Company for the second year running, as well as a customer service award in 2016.
